Maailma kotona in many languages
Welcome to a multilingual event at Lecti Book Studio! Students from Bielefeld University, Germany, read in different languages from the anthology Maailma Kotona. and talk about their approach to a foreign languages and cultures. The students are part of the editing and translation project Gruppe Bie and have been involved in the editing of the anthology. After a lively performance of a selection of texts, the group is ready for a chat – join us for interesting stories and experiences!

Casimir Ehrnrooth in Finland, Bulgaria and Russia
General Casimir Ehrnrooth was a division commander, minister and prime minister in Bulgaria and minister-secretary of state for Finland in Saint Petersburg. Professor Venelin Tsachevsky, who has written a biography about this forgotten but important person in the history of three countries, discusses about Ehrnrooth and his significance with Dr. Sabira Ståhlberg.
