One of Lecti Book Studio’s historical series deals with the Balkans.
During the book fair in Helsinki especially Bulgaria and Romania were brought to the forefront during the discussion between writer Sabira Ståhlberg and interviewer Oscar Rossi.
Sabira has travelled for many years on the Balkan peninsula and told about the Finnish views on this foreign area, and about her own travels in their footsteps.
At the Lecti Book Studio stand Professor Venelin Tsachevsky from Bulgaria presented his new book on Casimir Ehrnrooth from Finland, who acted as Prime Minister in Bulgaria during the 1880s.
Two previous ambassadors of Finland in Sofia were present, as well as representatives from the Finnish-Bulgarian friendship association, and other listeners.
